Time to make the best use of what we have

Availability of commercial real estate and professional workplace in larger cities is scarce. Depite ambitious construction initiatives demand is estimated to increase the coming years. Even more strange, existing commercial space is only utilized by in average 40%, which presents us with a large potential to actually make better use of what we have instead of just building more.

Time to think differently about access and use of commercial space

To support solving the problem Collibay was created, with the aim to help companies share space with each other. By improved utilization of already existing real estate we create new revenue streams for our hosts, savings for our guests, at the same time as we help creating a more sustainable society. And after listening to our customers, we now help companies on four levels:

1. Measure real utilization. By applying state-of-the-art sensor technology we enable companies to measure real utilization of their space and workplaces. This often reveals a totally different level of utilization than statistics pulled from e.g. existing booking systems. Here we establish the foundation of a "learning system" and subsequently the risk of over-booking is avoided. 

2. Optimize workspace efficiency. Based on vast experience and latest findings we support our clients to ensure the most efficient layout and make best possible use of their workspace. We also establish procedures to ensure smooth and secure handling of external guests within our client's facilities.

3. Reveal and make use of vacancies. Our cloud based sharing platform makes vacancies transparent where and whenever they occur. Easy sharing across departments or companies within a larger corporation enables improved availability for users as well as increased utilization of space. To ensure a sustainable change it's recommended to establish new routines in the organisation alongside with some simple supporting tools.

4. Share workspace with other companies. The Collibay Platform makes it easy to share workspace between companies. Supported by our automized processes, our clients can continue to focus on the core business - with minimum administration and efficient communication when sharing space with other professionals. This way, we create new revenue streams for our hosts, savings for our guests, at the same time as we help creating a more sustainable society. 

Location

Collibay is headquarted right outside of Göteborg on the west coast of Sweden, with sales and support also in Stockholm. 

Organization

The founders of Collibay are Jerker Funnemark (CEO, Market) and Magnus Sandin (CTO/Technology). Togheter we have vast experience from real estate and security industries, and have developed and commercialized a series of successful innovations throughout the years.

Our sales and marketing organisation currently present in Gothenburg and Stockholm, builds upon a strong foundation in real estate business and can also support our clients with traditional brokerage.
